We are conveniently located in the north Bronx, Norwood neighborhood. Our masjid will be the first in the area to be built from ground up to serve the community and other immediate surrounding communities like Woodlawn and Bedford Park.

Our muslim community comprised of African, Albanian, Arabian, Bangladeshi, Indian, and Pakistani as well as other ethnic groups and professionals. Since the project to build new masjid began in 2010 we have seen an increase of muslim families moving into the area.

Neighborhood is surrounded by local shops, super markets, banks, and hospitals all are within walking distance on the main road at Bainbridge Avenue.

We are easily accessible by NYC public transportation, Metro North and major highways and parkways. Take D train to last stop in the Bronx at 205th street, we are around the corner of 206th and Rochambeau Avenue. BX10, BX28, BX34 buses are around the corner on 206th street.

We are close to beautiful Oval park with a race track, several basket ball court, and tennis court. Bronx Botanical gardens within walking distance at the Southern Blvd entrance.
